I’d like to share a bit of my story, not for sympathy, but to show you that overcoming challenges
is possible—I’ve done it myself.
For 28 years, I lived with epilepsy, enduring seizures that worsened as I grew older. These
seizures often forced me to stop working for months at a time. But the gym was my refuge. I
would walk 45 minutes each way, wearing knee sleeves in case of a seizure, because I refused
to make excuses—the gym kept me going and probably saved my life.
In 2018, I underwent brain surgery that completely eliminated my seizures, and I’ve been
seizure-free since. This experience gave me a new lease on life, and I dedicated myself to using
my degree in exercise science to help others become the best versions of themselves. I share
this part of my life because it’s made me the coach I am today—someone who’s faced adversity
and come out stronger, and I know you can too.

Commitment to Fitness as a Career
Now at 40, I’m preparing for my first bodybuilding competition, proving that it’s never too late to
bet on yourself—it always pays off in the end.
Fitness coaching, especially for those over 30, requires a coach who’s been through failures
